Gajula Sreenivasarao
Chairperson, National Human Rights Commission & Social Justice
About Us
I am deeply committed to social service and the empowerment of marginalized communities. As Chairperson of the National Human Rights Commission and Social Justice, I have spearheaded numerous initiatives aimed at uplifting vulnerable sections of society.
My journey in social service includes supporting mentally disabled individuals by facilitating their admission into care centers and orphanages, ensuring they receive proper care and dignity. I have worked closely with tribal communities, distributing educational resources and conducting awareness campaigns to promote the importance of education among tribal youth.
I have led impactful campaigns on pressing social issues such as “Say No to Drugs” and “Stop Violence Against Women and Girls,”
And campaigns on education awareness to youngsters – spreading awareness across communities to build a safer and more just society.
To empower women economically, I have distributed sewing machines to underprivileged women, enabling them to become self-reliant and financially independent. I also take great pride in recognizing and awarding individuals who have demonstrated extraordinary commitment to social causes, thereby encouraging a culture of compassion and responsibility.
My mission is to continue advocating for human rights, equality, and social justice through action, awareness, and inclusive development.

National Human Rights commission and Social Justice Trust is a non-political, secular organization that operates with the support of its dedicated members. Our national presence today is the result of the collective efforts and contributions of intellectuals, philanthropists, judges, and other distinguished individuals who have significantly helped in raising awareness of human values and various social causes.
National Human Rights commission and Social Justice Trust
serves as a voice for the ignored, overlooked, victimized, oppressed, and disadvantaged members of society, empowering them with knowledge about their rights. As a highly informative and secure human rights agency, we gather complaints, grievances, and concerns from those suffering as well as information on anti-social and anti-government activities. We present these issues to the relevant government authorities, police, and courts for action.
We actively commemorate significant days such as International Youth Day, World Human Rights Day, World Women’s and Peace Day, and World Press Freedom Day. In addition, we organize meetings, seminars, conventions, assemblies, conferences, cultural programs, youth camps, and judiciary camps to further our mission. With several prestigious projects lined up for the future, National Human Rights commission and Social Justice Trust is managing numerous Human Rights Centers across India, with the support of our members who are committed to promoting human rights, liberties, and social justice Trust.
In addition to educating people about their rights, National Human Rights commission and Social Justice Trust recognizes and honors prominent individuals who have made commendable contributions to human welfare and the protection of human rights. Every year, on World Human Rights Day, we felicitate diplomats, judges, social workers, leaders, and others for their dedicated service to society.
National Human Rights commission and Social Justice Trust also defends its own cases in court and is working towards opening secular residential schools, colleges, hospitals, and old-age homes across the country to support government initiatives in these areas. We envision building a network of like-minded nations to promote human values globally. Our goal is to create an innovative and integrated learning network that connects campuses and communities, empowering them to address human rights issues, and fostering peace, harmony, and unity.
We are strongly connected both nationally and internationally, with members across India and abroad, including Members of Parliament, MLAs, retired IAS officers, high-profile lawyers (Supreme Court, High Court, Lower Court), doctors, engineers, chartered accountants, and other professionals.
At National Human Rights commission and Social Justice Trust , we believe that “Inches Make Champions.” We invite every individual to join us in pioneering change. Your contribution, however small, will help us advance our mission to raise important issues and bring justice to our fellow citizens. There is no greater satisfaction than engaging in philanthropic work, and the impact of even the smallest act of generosity is immeasurable. Be a pioneer—lead the change.
